Champ, Punk from San Diego, releases first song off forthcoming album

Champ is a four piece punk band from San Diego who recently released the first single off their debut self titled album which is due out February 18th from Fleeting Youth Records. For fans of FIDLAR or Wavves, Champ offers distortion, speed, and a moody mindset to match. The first single “Burnt Alive” swings from chill verses into a blown out chorus with some feedback, and heavy-on-the-mind lyrics: “I don’t want to walk down memory lane / It’s all the same / It makes me feeling like nothing’s changed”.
