Rose’s Devotion is a band from Philadelphia that is currently in the works of putting out their first record, due out in Spring 2014. “As It Turns Out” is the first single from that album, bringing forth layered indie rock in a way that is both chill and emotionally charged. With lyrics about the paths our lives take, and who we take them with, this song has relatable lyrics that are backed by soft, twinkly guitar, fuzzy bass, and at times, ghostly ambience. The song then flows into a very well done guitar solo, which slows down with the rest of the instruments and brings the song to a close. Be on the look out for their album when it comes out.
