Lansdale punk band L.M.I. rattles the Nest

Lansdale punk trio L.M.I. played a killer set at North Philly’s The Nest this past Saturday, blaring through tracks off their most recent release, Sleepwalker. Their take on hardcore punk brings in lyrics that reflect on day-to-day society and moments where the instrumentals feel just as dissonant as their ideas, among the more straightforward riffs and hooks. The vocals flawlessly switched between the loud & raspy and the clean & eerie, and being backed by big muffed guitar and bass and hard-hitting drums made it an impressive set. Check out photos below and stream Sleepwalker here.
