Local punk band Loose Tooth recently released a single called “Pickwick Average” off their debut full length album, Easy Easy East, which is due out April 21st via Fleeting Youth Records. The lead track has poppy vocal melodies and hooks that contrast well with the gritty and raw instrumentation, and the band’s transitions between slow and fast speeds really draws you in to their grungy aesthetic. “Pickwick Average” keeps moving and demanding attention for about two and a half minutes, and the second half of the track slowly unwinds in a haze of guitars and soft drums.
